Well I didn’t get any pictures with The Judds, but I did get to see some old friends. Nick Gilder with Sweeney Todd played late Saturday afternoon. Joey Wowk (guitar) and Mark Gladstone (keys) are old friends from the 80’s. Sweeney Todd’s classic hits were “Here comes the Night”, “Hot Child in the City” and of course “Roxy Roller”.
Later that night I saw the Judds. They were really good. Wynonna had the audience singing along to all the hits. After the fireworks we hit the stage at a numbing 2 am for a 75 minute set. The band and crowd both ROCKED!
When the day was finally over, and my head hit my pillow at 7 am back at home, it had been one long 21 hour day.
